I loved every minute of this, but held my breath during your Guilin airport delay... yes, we sure did have a tough day and night getting from Guilin to Hong Kong!

I saw that movie about the professor and the immigrants in NY - beautiful movie, but I also don't remember the title.

For the person who long ago asked the question about the raft trips, we did the Xingping one and another on the Yulong River. For us, the Yulong raft trip was magical and even, now, we still refer to it. The scenery was spectacular and the countryside along the Yulong was gorgeous. The Yulong is the one with the little cataracts that your raft goes over (you have to pick up your feet or they will get wet!).

I also enjoyed your description of Dr. Lily's massage. I enjoyed mine, and the price was right. I was sorry, though, that you didn't try the Chinese medicine. I would have been curious to know how well it worked. Based on other stories I have read, I suspect your rash would have cleared right up.

Also, I seem to remember CD's of the light show for sale. I didn't buy anything there and wished maybe I had bought a souvenir later on.

Thanks again, Lyn! I loved your line about re-reading these TR's when we're old and in nursing homes. Your trip report is terrific!

Linda--Yes, I was curious to try the "heat in the blood" tea but I didn't want to part with the 100 RMB!! Besides I am one of those persons with strange plant allergies. I already had one, I was afraid to try for two!!

I have an email from jade leo--he says he can send a copy of the DVD but my concerns are- Can we play their version on our players? and I would have transfer money into his bank account and I did not research the cost of the transfer.

John still talks about his massage--his pain and suffering increase expoentially with each telling.

I ordered posters for my laundry room walls---the Li river cruise is right above my washer. I am magically whisked to that day every time I load and unload my washer!!
