Stayed there 4 days last October on club floor. Excellent experience. Good location. Wonderful service, nice room. Only negative...hotel restaurants very expensive for Bejing, but concierge recommended near-by fine places to eat. Lunch at hotel was very interesting with serious "power lunches" being held complete with bodyguards. Would have liked to know what was being discussed. It was especially good to have hotel transportation from airport.

I agree super hotel. Fantastic swimming pool, set in a glass house kind of building. You can float on your back and look up at the sky or out to the hotel courtyard. I found the coffee shop not to bad expense wise.....and the service was amazing!!!

We stayedat the Palace Hotel last October. It was a great hotel with wonderful service. The concierge desk is very helpful - the Palace hotel really made our stay in Beijing special.

We did not eat at any of the restaurants except for breakfast which was included (and it was wonderful). We tried different Chinese restaurants for lunch such as Mongolian, Uighur, etc.

I've stayed at the Palace Hotel on two separate occassions and am booked there again in the spring. It's excellent! The service is amazing. The Chinese restaurant on the ground floor (I can't recall the name) is excellent, but probably a bit pricey. I agree with the comments about the concierge. They give great resturant recommendations.

Yes, I stayed there a few years ago as part of a package tour and it was wonderful!
It is part of the Peninsula Group of hotels whaich are all first class.
I agree that the restaurants were expensive.
