Pacific Delight Yangtze River Tour C
 

I am going on the Pacific Delight Yangtze River Victoria Cruise Tour C for 24 days, starting September 29. I am interested in hearing from other people who have been on this particular tour.

Dennis...that is one of the China tours Im considering. PLEASE...when you return...let us know how it was!!!! PLEASE!!!! I wont go till next spring..but am most curious. Thanks! :)

We took this trip in Oct.,2000. We have traveled abroad at least 16 times almost always alone. We were very leary of how big the group would be and would we like being taken everywhere. It turned out to be the best experience of our life. Our group had only 16 people and each day we had two guides, one who was with us the whole trip and one for each city. We loved the hotels that were used such as the Palace, the Westin, the Shangrala, etc. Our rooms were all very comfortable and some were outstanding. Each hotel had a large American breakfast that was very good. The tour kept us busy from early in the morning until at least 9 o'clock at night. Many times we did not even go back to our hotel to wash up or change. The company did everything that they promised and no sights were missed. The planes, boats, cruises, etc. were all well planned and most of our guides were very good. Our only complaint was really with the food for we found the hotels 5 star but our trip ate at different three star hotels. I do not know if this was the c tour or not for last year our ship was the Regal Line and not the Victoria for this was the only 24 day trip offered by the company. I would like to go back and have a little more free time though we both say " We really got our money's worth."

Hi - we took a Pacific Delight tour - 10 cities of China. Will have to agree with Mimi as to how good the trip was. We have been on a great number of tours and Pacific Delight was outstanding. There were only 10 in our group which made it so easy to get around. As far as the food went we mostly had breakfast and dinner at our 5 star hotel. Lunch sometimes was a bit strange as we were on tour and often at a local cafe. I highly recommend Pacific Delightfor anything China.

We took a 21-day Pacific Delight tour in September, 1999, using the Regal Cruise instead of Victoria. There were only 9 in our tour group. We had a fantastic time and would highly recomend Pacific Delight. We will be using them again for our travels. Their tour was everything they said it would be and our guides were all great. <BR>Have a great time!
