Overnight in Shimanami kaido
 

We will be in Japan for a month and would like to cycle on the Shimanami Kaido along the islands between Onomichi & Imabari but we are having trouble finding lodging in that area the nights of November 23 & 24. We would like to stay in a traditional inn or small hotel. Any suggestions?

Could you please elaborate a bit more? Are you asking to stay someplace en route, or somewhere near Imabari or Matsuyama? Along the route I hope you can see the Kosanji Temple on Ikuchijima - it's one of the overboard ornate places you'll ever see in Japan.
