Have a great trip...sounds like a wonderful itinerary for such a special occasion.

BTW, I think I read in a post that you are in Ridgefield? I'm in Weston...we will have to do a NY/CT GTG sometime.

Ah-- Ridgefield, CT is one of my favorite places. I spent almost every weekend for 20 years in North Salem so I know it well.

Boblax-- I'm no longer in the area -- now live in Chicago but, fortunately, this Jan I will be warm and cozy in thailand!

cruisinred Oct 28th, 2005 09:08 AM

boblax-
Jan sounds good to me....I will need warm thoughts to get through the winter until my trip in May.
Laurieco is in NY and Craig near Hartford...so maybe we could have a small group at least.

Looking forward to your trip report.

We're in CT, too. Missed the Boston GTG, but would love to try to join for a CT GTG. I work in Danbury, not far from Ridgefield, and I think half the people who work at my company live in Ridgefield...

Be extra careful of a pickpockets gang while in KL. They usually happen in a crowded place especially just before the subway train door closes.

Someone will drop some coins, pretend to pick them up but grab your leg and start shaking. Next you know, your wallet went missing. You will not realise at all when someone shakes your leg. It's a foolproof method. If that happens to you, just kick off the person and leave the scene.

Kishore-you should be there by now. Hope you're having a great time. Your trip sounds exciting. Good to meet you at the Boston GTG. Where exactly is Connecticut?

Guenmai Nov 2nd, 2005 07:02 AM

Have a ball on your anniversary trip Boblax! And a GTG in CT sounds good to me. I've never been to CT..., but January? How scary is that...I, like, don't do cold weather. Smiles. I'll be in Bangkok in December and January soaking up the warm before returning to cold L.A. when it's down to 65-70 degrees in January. Ooh...how chilly...let me get out the Eddie Bauer full-length, down coat! Happy Travels!

BillT Nov 2nd, 2005 07:47 AM

Guen- I'm with you- having grown up in cold weather I don't so cold weather on my vacations. I want to be able to walk around without shiverring and bundled up!

Guenmai Nov 8th, 2005 04:38 PM

Boblax...How's the trip going? Post back to us. Happy Travels!
