one more destination, help pls!
Hi,
Looking for one more destination for family holiday with 2 kids 6 and 8.
We arrive in Singapore on 2 June, and leave from there on the 19 june, intending to fly directly to KL. The planned itinerary as follows so far.
KL 4 nites (too long?)
Penang 4 nites (too short?)
Perhantians 5 nites
Somewhere yet to be decided 4 nites...tossing up another resort in perhentians, island/location on east coast, any other suggestions?
Thanks!

East coast Malaysia will probably have better weather in June so for beach time, the Perhentians are good and alternative destinations would be Redang island, Tioman island or one of the mainland east coats resorts, although there tends to be less to do for the kids on the east coast. Langkawi is great but the weather will not be the best.
I like rudiazan suggestion of the Cameron highlands which are really beautiful and a offer a welcome respite form the heat. How about a few days in the rainforest at Taman Negara, I am sure the children would find that exciting?

Kuching for 5 days:

Plently to do in and around Kuching (national parks, the Semenggoh orang utan centre, the Sarawak cultural village).
Easily reachable by plane from Singapore or KL.
2 nights (each) are sufficient for KL and Pinang.

We all have different opinions on this. 2 nights in KL is enough for me, but I'd spend 4 night or more in Georgetown, Penang. From Penang, Langkawi is an easy beach stop.
We loved Kuching, but it may make more sense for you to stay in peninsular Malaysia. Perhaps crellston's suggestion of the Cameron Highlands would be a good option.
