One day in Guilin
 
We are thinking about taking the Li River Cruise but have gotten mixed reviews.
Would you recommend doing that or something else?
What would you do instead?

Are you saying you already plan to be in Guilin for 1 day & are wondering what to do? How many nights will you be there? Is there a possibility to stay longer? All these factors apply.

Hard to say without knowing your whole plan. Nothing wrong with this boat ride as such but there are better ways to enjoy the scenery.
