One day for sightseeing in Tokyo - what not to miss?

I will be in Tokyo for business for 5 days and only have one full day to myself for sightseeing. What is your personal favorite or "not-to-be-missed" activity or destination in Tokyo?

Thanks!

Well, many museums are closed on Mondays so that narrows it down a bit....
Have you checked out the Tokyo pages here:

I'm not a big tour person but in your case I might recommend taking a private tour - I think there is some tour guide people on this site have recommended....

That will be the second day of the grand sumo tournament at the Ryogoku Kokugikan. I would spend the afternoon there.

I personally recommend Tokyo City View when the sun is about to set, you can view 360 degrees of Tokyo and take many beautiful photos there too. They have a cafe and also an art museum in the same building

If you want a general sightseeing tour, I recommend SkyBus. It is an open top bus that will drive through multiple parts of Tokyo so you get to see many parts of Tokyo at once.
