On-line hotel booking for Thailand

I'm sure this has been answered a hundred times but I can't seem to find the threads. What are the most reliable sights for booking hotels in Thailand. I care more about reliability than getting the cheapest price.

Thanks

I use www.asiahotels.com and www.planetholiday.com - both are reliable and have very good prices (usually I compare on both as it varies by hotel). Others on this forum also recommend www.huahin.20m.com.

I have been using wwwasiahotels.com for a number of years. They have good prices and good service.

Also, don't overlook the hotel's website or faxing/emailing/calling the specific hotel (not the 800 #) directly. Many times I've gotten better prices this way than on any independent booking sites. Also, read the fine print and make sure to note if taxes/breakfast is included or excluded. In Asia this can add up to a considerable amount of money.

Directroom.com is another place to check.

james has been suggesting www.huahin.20m.com and i tried it and was quite pleased with it...includes breakfast taxes and service for about the price the hotel charges just for the room....

I booked with www.sawadee.com. I think they have better rates at most hotels than asiahotels. And they are very efficient, answering all our questions quickly and very reliable.

Hi

I have used asiatravel.com planetholiday.com and hotelthailand.com. It has worked out pretty good every time :-)
