Has anyone had any experience with this airline?

It is currently advertising attractive prices for flights between Hong Kong and Vancouver, a route that they plan to start flying June 28th. However, the airline has only been operating since October 2006 and only on one route (Hong Kong/Gatwick).

Most comments I hear are quite positive, except when they have a mechanical. With so few planes, if one breakdown, you're talking about half a day of delay or more, and there have been several incidents where the passengers are not happy.

Do note that they say on their website that they cannot take bookings from Canada/Canadian residents at this time.

My understanding is that Oasis is waiting for approval from the Canadian regulatory authorities before it can sell tickets in Canada. I wonder if there is a chance that the June 28th start date is not firm.
