Never been to Singapore but appreciate your post - the food sounds great. We will get there some day. Looking forward to your Bangkok and Myanmar reports.

Leave for Singapore November 1 out of JFK, this time in economy on SIA, no miles earned either but for the price, who cares. Fish Head Curry, did you eat the HEAD and eyes? Enjoying your trip report.

We're on two SIN flights, JFK-BKK and BOS-DNP that will not earn miles. Again, both are very cheap. When does Fanny leave SIN?

Am at the Apsara in Luang Prabang right now, after spending an extremely wet night and morning in BKK.

Hanuman are your feet webbed yet?

Yes they are! Right opposite the road from the Apsara, on the bank of the Khan river, is a "hot pot" restaurant. Inexpensive and good!
