I will let you know. I expect I'll try out at least one (the Banana Flower salad sounded fabulous!).

This writer also did some great articles on restaurants/cuisine in Vietnam last year. He has the best job; I think he just writes on asian food & restaurants.

"Johnny" Apple does have the best job but he reviews food & restaurants all over the world not just in Asia. reportedly he has the biggest expense account at the Times.

haven't read it yet but pulled out the section form my copy of the Times. Hopefully I'll remember to bring it to Bangkok next spring.
