While you absolutely need medevac, it won't cover what your companions are looking for (an escape clause for them in case Gpanda has you incapacitated). You need cancellation for that. Likely cheaper to get a policy that covers both.

Thursday: I am going to suggest that they do some research because their needs are not the same as mine. While I love reading about places and planning (and asking questions here!) I truly do not enjoy ferreting out the various permutations of trip cancellation insurance. The subject is making my brain freeze.
And just when I thought the world was safe and I did not have to worry about dredging up heaps of bail money! Knowing Panda he would probably insist on having the money delivered in uncrumpled bills. No torn notes accepted!
