November 2008 Japan trip report: part 5, photos of the autumn koyo
Although it's the time of spring and sakura, I decided to offer a preview of autumn koyo with a final installment of last November's Japan trip preview. We decided to include a fairly large (though edited) selection of photos, hoping that they might evoke some sense of the moment after moment spectacular beauty we were treated to in the last two and a half weeks of November. We hope to return sometime in spring.
Sometimes the photos fade to dark (some glitch in the software program), but if you play with it you can get clear color.

Great photos! Thanks for sharing. Having been in some of the same places just over a week ago, it is fun to compare the spring/sakura views to those in the fall. Unfortunately, we can't do much traveling in the fall right now due to school, but some day...

Thanks, everybody. Ms Go--I also enjoyed your recent trip report and pictures. It increased my desire to return to Japan someday to see the cherry blossoms. HT--I'm looking forward to your account of your upcoming trip this fall and am curious to hear where you're going.
