Nosey Parker's Elephant Camp in Krabi

We are going to Thailand in June (Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Krabi). We are wanting to do an elephant trek and are considering the Nosey Parker Elephant Camp in Krabi or the Elephant Conservation Center in Chiang Mai. We would like to do a half day or maybe whole day experience. Which is better? I feel like the ECC is all elephant-related (duh)... and the NPEC may include more than just the elephants. Has anyone been to the NPEC? If so....your thoughts? I know that the ECC is supposed to be great. Thanks!

The Nosey Parker place is your typical elephant trekking for profit kind of place - not bad, but not really working to better the lives of elephants and mahout families. The TECC in Lampang just outside of Chiang is elephant devoted, with your money helping to fund their hospital and refuge, as well as keeping their working elephants and their mahout families happy and healthy.
