There's a problem right now with the forum sometimes loading pages, sometimes not. Not unusual there though, eh? :)

But the one's that have the "tid" portion are eventually working for me.

The ones that end in fid=27 aren't. The tid refers to the specific thread (tid=thread ID) while fid is the forum id (27=Asia). Without the tid as part of the address, you'll only go to the base Asia forum.

Great idea though, these super threads, especially with the search feature not working so well lately.

Looks like the window is in three frames. The banner across the top, the thread list on the left, and the thread body on the right. The URLs for threads that you are posting are all the same because of the way the webpage is constructed. The way that you are opening the threads is not loading the URL into the nav bar of your browser. The developer will certainly tell you that it is not an error.

I'll bet that you are left-clicking on the thread title in the left frame to see the body of the thread to the right. Then you copied the URL from the location bar.

Instead of left-clicking on the thread title, do a right-click and select "Open in New Browser Window" or "Open in New Window", or something like that, depending on your browser. Now copy the URL from the new window. By URL I do mean the http:...

... and then close the new window and paste the URL to your thread.

If you get Internal Server Error then that probably means that someone has added/updated a thread in the forum between the time that you loaded the thread list and opened the new window.

You can get around this potential problem if you are using Netscape. I expect that the same thing could be done using Mozilla. Here is how:

Click on the thread title to load the thread into this frame (the area where you are looking right now).

Right click in this frame <here> and select the option "This Frame", then select "Open Frame in New Window". Then copy the URL from the new window. Always close the new window.

Apparently they have the banner and thread list frames linked to the body frame so they all will appear in the new window.
