Noodles in Shanghai
Hi there, my husband is in Shanghai on business, staying at the JW Marriott. I am trying to find him a good place to go get Noodles, which he obsesses over. Any advice?

Take a look at this discussion of noodles in Shanghai:

Get the directions from the hotel front desk, walk west 10 minutes to Yunan Road Food Street, all types of noodles plus tons of other senses bombarding food in restaurants, not street-side stalls.

sealstep: Would you share your crack bread recipe? Thanks.

Thanks you guys! Shanghainese, we tried to replicate the best we could, but I'm not sure it's really a recipe. Take something like pita bread or Naan and brush it with butter. then coat it in a mix of salt, pepper, cumin, and cayenne and grill it up. It's really delicious!

Sounds great, thanks, what kind of butter did they locals use?

I am not sure if they used butter or oil in fact. We don't speak much chinese! But it was delicious.
