When is Loy Krathong this year 2007?

When is Loy Krathong this year? I try to google it & came up with November 24th. Is this correct? I'm thinking about going to Thailand in November and I want to try to be in Chiang Mai for the festival.

Thanks

Saturday 24th November 2007 is the correct date for this year's Loy Krathong in Thailand.

Bob - what do you mean that the date change East to West?

I see what you mean Bob. So if I travel faster than light then I can bend time and enjoy multiple Loy Krathong right?

Or you could travel more slowly than Bob and not enjoy Loy Krathong at all.

That's the date we're flying home from Thailand. Flying home is an endless day... we leave Bangkok at 6:40 am, fly to Narita, hang around for a few hours, and then fly across the Pacific... remarkably, after many hours in transit, we arrive in Seattle about 9 am the same day.

h82work, I highly recommend you do your best to be in Chiang Mai for Loy Krathong. I recently posted my trip report, which is fairly detailed. If you click on my name you will find it.

If you would like to see some photos of this amazing night you can go to my website at:

www.windjammer.smugmug.com

Make your reservations early as many places book up early.

Cheers!

seems to me that LK is only celebrated in thailand so you would not have to travel far and i think you have a perfect front row seat at your condo...
