You will find couples in some beer bars and some go-go bars. Management doesn't care just as long as you pay the tab. There are several beer bars in the Sukhumvit area, not far from the Nana Skytrain stop.
There are quite a few beer bars and go-go bars on Sukhumvit Soi 4 and in a big complex called Nana Entertainment Plaza across from Nana Hotel. Not unusual to see couples in there but not a lot.
Regular night clubs for the younger tourists - try the RCA.

When in any go-go bar or beer bar (open sided bar) ask the price of your drink before you order. Look at the receipt to see if the price is right. Don't let a lot of the drink receipts fill up your chit container because if you are careless or drink too much a few extra may be included!

I went to see the Mambo show last month. Dancers were very unprofessional - most of them were 'walking' around on stage instead of dancing. It was more like parading some ladyboys instead of a cabaret show. Props and costumes were impressive, though. Not worth the 1,000 baht charged. No compliment drinks. They also charged 50 baht per photo per ladyboy. We thought it was per photo. We took pictures with a group of the ladyboys and were told to pay each of them 50 baht.
