Nha Trang: VinPearl Resort or Ana Mandara?
 

We are trying to decide between these two resorts -- everyone raves about Ana Mandara but haven't seen any posting for VinPearl which just opened last year. The VinPearl is about $60US cheaper. In relation to town -- where are they located?

Any feedback will be appreciated.

Help...someody's got know about these places..we're tempted to ditch it all and go to thailand.

Stay at the Ana Mandara full stop. Vin Pearl has finally been taken over by Swisshotel and so is at last getting its act together, but the AM has been around a long time and they know what they are doing - an important issue in Vietnam.

We stayed at the Ana mandara about 3 years ago for a wedding anniversary. A nice hotel , spacious rooms all close to the beach & a great restaurant. They organised some great side trips for us - sunset cruise up the river, dinner cruise on the bay as well as some pretty good diving with a local dive shop. Another althernative is the Evason Hideaway - www.sixsenses.com which is the same co. as the Ana. Sorry but never heard of the Vin Pearl.
