Tailor in Bangkok??

Anyone know of a good tailor in Bangkok. I am looking to have some shirts, pants and maybe a suit made there. I am looking for someone reputable and reasonably priced.

Thanks!

There are lots but the only one I have used personally is called Pierre's(!)although they are Thai.It is across the side street from the Asia Hotel. I had a lot of stuff made there at least ten years ago and am still wearing them and still being asked Is that new? They were quick, very reasonably priced and very friendly. Good luck!

i have used three...the one i have used most often is monet il sarto II....it is located on the second level of the marriott resort and spa hotel mini mall...you can get a boat from the river city shopping center or from the end of the sky train at the river...its free....the hotel is on the river down a ways from the main part where rama 3 crosses the river his current shirt promo is 6 for $120...my wife has had things made there as well...good values...

i have also used varshi who is located near the nana hotel soi 4 sukhumvit rd...he is in a mini mall on the right side of soi 4 as you come from suk---about a 2 minute walk...he has been there for years...very good quality, but more expensive..

most tailors are thai (actual sewers) and most shops are run by indians...

i always give him plenty of time like two weeks...you want to have at least one fitting, on both shirts and jackets...i think he could have it in less than a week if need be and less if he is not busy...it is all done off premise, but in bkk somewhere....fittings are very important...he has done a fitting in maybe 2-3 days for me in the past...e-mail him and ask for sure....use my name: bob kimball...i send him lots of people cause i think he is good and reliable and reasonable...

My suggestion is Raja behind the Marriott off of the river. I bought 4 quality suits, 8 shirts, 2 slacks and 4 ties for $1,000.Contact citiboy 50 @aol.com for more details.
