The author has a great sense of humor, judging from the previous boof of his that I read, The Naked Tourist.

Yes, let us know. I will warn you that you may be disgusted with the narrator/author and her friend; they are very squeamish and seem to complain constantly, especially when they first arrive. But press on-- the story takes a most unexpected turn.

Beth says it was in the NYT Book section today. One could check there for an actual boof report.

It is in today's Travel section, but you read about it first from Ekscrunchy! As usual, right on the cutting edge!

Thanks for the 'Bangkok Days' boof recco; an enjoyable read, particularly (and we are going back to my BKK 'single guy' business travel days) Osborne's 'eden club' riff. Joyous 'Thai threesomes', indeed. ... (And I vaguely recall the illustrious 'mr. m' allowing outcall service for those fun-loving miscreants staying near 'his' special den of iniquity.)

Keep up the good work, 'crunchy', and if you're still undecided re Bangkok hotels, do it right and fly into BKK late with those sensational Singapore Girls, and check into a Four Seasons 'cabana room'. (Trust me on this one: a great room, a great lap pool, a great staff, and provided a bit of discretion is observed, not a problem sharing tender times with gorgeous 'masseuses'.)
