New -30 day stamp on land crossings

Apologies if this has already been posted....

Citizens of the following countries will now get 30 days visa exempt stamp when entering Thailand OVERLAND.

JAPAN
GERMANY
UNITED KINGDOM
UNITED STATES
CANADA
FRANCE
ITALY

You mean BEFORE?
Before if you entered Thailand by land you only got a 15 day stamp.

This give tourists who use land entry points a little more breathing room than the old free 15 days Visa Exemption allowance.

So you an get a visa stamp for 30 days and extend for 60 internally? So the visa runs need to happen every 90 days?

It's not a visa - it's a visa emption. So I don't know about any extension you can get inside the country.
