Nepal - one week in Katmandu, too long?

I am posting this question for a friend, I'll admit I have not read anything about the destination so, please forgive me for having a limited knowledge on the destination.

A friend is planning on visiting Katmandu, she is interesting in sightseeing, but does not want to go trekking. She has looked at various different flight schedules and she isn't comfortable booking on Nepal Airlines, since they are notorious for cancelling flights. The best flight options for her are on KA, but their flights are only once a week, so she would need to stay in Nepal for one whole week. Is 7 nights/6 full days too long to spend in Katmandu?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

No, a week in Kathmandu is not too much. I've been there twice, once for a week, once for 10 days.
