NeoPatrick Photo albums
Hopefully these are viewable by everyone. Facebook is new to me. I have posted a photo album for Asia Highlights from my recent trip, as well as a Patrick eating in Asia album.

I don't believe the general public can view your photo album on Facebook. Only your "friends" can.
|
My daughter just corrected me and said that people can view other peoples photos on Facebook without being "friends". However, there's an error with your link.

Sorry. The last few digits didn't copy the first time. Try this. |
I think you have to have a Facebook account in order to log onto Facebook. You then have to be on of your friends to see your picture site.
Aloha! |
I guess I don't get Facebook. I clearly marked my account for pictures to be seen by "all" not "friends". But yes, I think you do need to register a name to view at all. I know I did that long ago to see other people's open photos, even without actually registering as a Facebook user.

Great photos, Neo. We need a link to Patrick eats, though from the photos it didn't look like the eats stayed with you.
|
Nice photos, Patrick, and some funny comments. Thanks for sharing them as well as your trip report.
I am on Facebook but not a 'friend' of Patrick and was able to view the album.... |
So you still have to be on Facebook, which a lot of us aren't. I don't want to be, but I might have to sign up just to see these pictures!
|
Marija, what a sweet thing to say. I actually came home from the 2 and a half month trip 5 pounds lighter than when I left. If I had come home BEFORE the final week in London it would have probably been 10 pounds! That Asian food is so healthy -- and then I walked and sweated off an awful lot.
|
You can share photos with people who aren't on FB. At the bottom of the main album page, below the photos, you should see something that says:
share this album with anyone by sending them this public link: (long URL) Copy that URL and then paste it here. It's a little different than the link at the top of your browser. I do this all the time with my MIL and some others not on FB. Nice photos, by the way. I am going to take a closer look when I have a chance, as we're headed to Vietnam in a few months. |
Thanks ms_go. I hadn't noticed that. So here goes -- hope it works:
http://www.facebook.com/album.php?ai...7&l=19b457680c By the way, you need to click on each photo to read captions in case some haven't figured that out. |
These are great photos and great comments! Thanks for sharing.
|
Yes!!! (thank you ms_go and thank you NeoPatrick!)
|
Patrick I love your photos and it's fantastic how you edited them down to the best 50. Asia Highlights indeed! Your China trip report has been very helpful to me as I plan my 2011 trip, and I also enjoyed your Vietnam report (and all the tour vs. independent debate.) Thanks for posting!
|
Wonderful photos, Patrick, and excellent trip report too. Happy you had such an incredible experience!
|
Nice photos! It's nice to get the visuals along with your report.
|
Really enjoyed reading your report Patrick, and these great pics bring it to life. Thanks very much for posting them.
Editing to 50 must have been a challenge! |

Nice job with the photos! The photo of Angkor Wat is especially nice. In my 3 visits there, I've never captured it with blue sky!
Is there a link to your food photos? |
Ah yes, here's the "public" link to Patrick eating in Asia.

Nice. Love your photos and your comments. The picture of the two little girls looking out through a door is award winning. Very nice. Thanks for posting. You did a lot on this trip!
|
Loved the photos Patrick.
|
Thanks, I went to China in 2003, just a beautiful country and I also visit in Thailand in 2005,I did not take any pictures, I forgot about the White Palace. Next Cambodia.
|
Very nice photos.
You got blue skye in Beijing. That's awesome! The elephant's painting was very cool also. It really did paint that entire flower scene? That's more talent than a lot of human, LOL. |
