NEED URGENT HELP: balikpapan indonesia

hi, i will travel alone to balikpapan indonseia from 15 may until 2oth, 2011. does anyone been here and i need your help in for itinerary, i dont have an extensive plan for this except for oranggutan's. i really need any advise and recommendations for making my 5 stay fruitful. any itineraries will consider and also, any low budgeted accomodations to consider.

you guys can also recommend some useful tips and websites forconsiderations.

Have you posted this on Thorntree, Lonely Planet's forum? I think you'll find more assistance there. You are going to a place that is off the track so both transport and accommodations will take longer to arrange. Good luck to you.

thanks kathie, i will post now on thornree. in case, please help me out with this, just heard from a friend balikpapan is the best getaway to see oranggutans.

It is very long and some of it is quite old, but it's the best resource I found when I was planning my trip to see the orangutans. We went to Malaysian Borneo, Sabah, to the Danum Valley.

thanks kathie and qwovadis. by the way, i remember you guys, you were the ones who helped us about our asian tour last year the 22 days for seven countries.

thanks again and still feel free guys to post any sets of informations for the oranggutans.
