Need hotel in Mirissa, Sri Lanka
 

We are two couples planning a 16 day trip in Sri Lanka in Jan/Feb, working with a travel agent at Jetwing Eco Holidays. We are staying one night in Mirissa to expedite our early morning whaling trip, but would like to make the most of the experience and get a good hotel. The travel agent suggested Ubuntu by Lantern which seems to have some difficulties. There's no permanent staff on the premises; if no one is available you have to go to the sister property down the road for assistance. So, to make a long story short, we are hoping for some suggestions for nice hotels in Mirissa, preferably on the beach side of the road. Thank you for any help you can give us.
