Need Help With My Shanghai Itinerary

Hi Everyone!

I will be travelling to Shanghai in October and spending a week there. I will be there on business and I will be busy during most weekdays, but I will have most evenings and weekends free.

I want to make the most of my free time while I am there. Please help with suggestions for what to do, see, and eat while I am there. My hotel will be located downtown.

Thank you in advance!

Thanks for forwarding these HT! These posts are very informative with tons of information on Shanghai.

Looks like we will just miss each other, as I will be leaving on 10/20.

Thanks, HT, thats' very kind of you.

VeeDubb - let me know if you have more questions. Where in "downtown" are you staying? Shanghai is huge.

Thanks, Shanghainese! I will be staying near the Huaihai Road business area, close to Xintiandi. Do you have any suggestions for this area?

You are in one of the most convenient areas, look at my notes, you can walk, take the metro or a taxi to many of the do, see and eat places.
