Hi

I'm flying in the early hours of the morning into Nagpur from Doha in January. I'm being picked up and driven straight to Satpura National Park. Is the foreign exchange open 24/7 or will I be able to find an ATM that will work with an HSBC card (I've had problems in previous visits). I don't want to be stuck in a remote area with no rupees.

If it's a Visa or a Master card then you are not going to face any problems. Simply withdraw the money from any ATM. There is a flat fee of Rs 150 for 20,000 (0.75%).

Thanks Buppah. I have had issues in the past and had to try 4 or 5 different ATM. Not something I fancy doing at 3 AM

This site is pretty reliable. Doesn't sound like much there, but there are at least a couple ATMS, and if a flight is expected, hopefully someone who handles them or an FX counter will be there to work the crowd.
