Myanmar Travel Agent

Hello,

Has anyone ever used mrmyanmar travel? On the verge of using them for booking our flight and hotels. Does anyone know how much of a premium they charge for the booking?

None of the agents in Yangon charge a premium for booking. Indeed, they will save you a significant amount of money on hotels.

I used Santa Maria for both of my trips and they were great. But there are many good agents in Yangon.

Thank you for the reply. The price seems fairly reasonable, but just wanted to make sure they were also trustworthy. We're targeting good to great hotels. Your opinion echoes most of what I've read so far. Since you've visited, and if you flew, is one medium suitcase per person too many for the internal flights. We had a small problem in Cambodia and hoped to avoid any problems here.

You can certainly check your luggage. Carry-on space is pretty limited in most of the planes, so plan on checking your medium suitcase and carrying on something small.

I agree with Kathie! There are several good travel agencies. We used Goldenrock Travel and they could not have been better. Now, 1 1/2 years after our trip, we still meet their US representatives for dinner periodically. (They live nearby.) Since he travels regularly to Myanmar, we have frequent updates on what is really happening. Very gracious people.
