My new 10 year china visa
How lovely, and cheap too. Ten years, multiple entry, 60 days per visit = years of enjoyment. Yeah, somewhat odd the questions the chinese need answers to, but i gave good honest but bogus replies and was confirmed. Cost (Hong Kong $ 1100) which is the same cost as a one day visa, so big savings for me. If you are going to china consider the same, as you may want to return.
I'm in HK now so will be popping over to Shenzhen for a nice massage plus soon. Plus some good boiled dumplings. |
Good for you but this is not new anymore.

jobin, did you obtain your visa in Hong Kong?
I agree, a 10 year visa makes sense. A number of countries offer them: India, Brazil... now China. |
And they put a sticker in my passport that when this passport of mine expires before the China Visa to keep the old passport and bring it along with the 10 yr visa.

Yes, K. Got my visa in HK. But i have no HKID, only a landing stamp. But also have many former China visas in passport. IMO, this 10 yr visa is not advertised on the chinese embassy websites with any impact so i suspect they would rather not but are compelled by reciprocity agreements with USA.

You could well be right about that. I am aware of people in the US applying for the 10 year visa and whether it is granted or not seems rather random.
