My Experience In Taiwan

I went to Taipei last March and it was surely an enjoyable one! So much so that my sisters and I could not bear at all to leave the country. Haha. I lived in Rainbow Hotel for my whole stay. It is really convenient as it is located right at the heart of the city, Xi Men Tin. ;) On my first night there, I met up with my Taiwanese friends for dinner at a steamboat restaurant just next to my hotel. You just need to pay a flat rate to enjoy unlimited rounds of food. I went to Holiday KTV right after the dinner and I was glad to experience a different feel, as compared to Singapore's. I was amazed to hear that they do not have the system.

They also have a personal toilet for every single room! The buffet they provide is not bad at all too!

2nd day... went to Wu Fen Pu to shop like crazy! It is just like Singapore's Bugis Street. It was where I actually bought the most amount of clothing etc of my life thus far! No joke. I kept telling myself : 'I am now in Taiwan! Don't buy now, then wait for when?' HAHA. It is more suitable for youngsters, as more formal and matured clothing doesn't form the majority. µ*Ë®ťOÈË´aî^ was my next stop. It is superbly cold there, but I enjoyed the great scenary. =) Shi Lin Ye Shi was the next stop and yes, the very famous chicken chop and 'guan cai ban' (Bacon Cheese) was tried. [you should never miss it too! :)]

3rd day... Went on to the Toilet Restaurant and it was such a splendid experience! Visited Jiu Fen.

It was a very pleasant trip on a whole, and I definitely will not be tired to go back If you guys would like to find out which tour agency I trust in, it would be Nam Ho Travel. May you enjoy your trip too! Cheers!

What a great report. It certainly makes me want to rush to Taipei. Can you tell us more of your adventures, agape? That chicken chop and bacon cheese sounds great.

What was the food like at the Toilet Restaurant?

That toilet restaurant is hilarious. Only in Taiwan...

Thanks for sharing your blog. Looks like you had a lot of fun. I was in Taiwan 10 years ago and it was not that much fun. :-)

One comment about your blog...the grey colored text is tough to read on a white background.

Hi Kristina,

thanks for the comment!

I noted that too, and i am thinking of changing my blog layout. =)
