Ms. Queen

Has anyone taken the Ms. Queen on the Yangtze River cruise? We will be on this ship in late October and cannot find out any information about it. Thanks

Perhaps this is the 'East Queen', operated, if I remember correctly, by the Oriental Cruiser company, used by some of the more upmarket tour companies, and which claims to be the most luxurious boat on the river.

Ship size has until now been limited by the size of the lock at the Gezhou Dam, and so the boat is much like those on the Nile--70-80 small cabins with picture windows. It claims five stars, but you might give it four.

Peter N-H
http://members.axion.net/~pnh/China.html

Lynne, We were on the East King last October. If you e-mail me direct, I will be glad to send you a copy of our trip report with some helpful hints on the boat. Margot

Watch out, Margot works for a China tour operator.

I do not (emphatically do not) work for a tour operator. We have been to China six times and just want to share our experiences.
