Money Changer In Bali Near Three Brothers Bungalows In Legion

Can anybody recommend a reputable money changer near Three Brothers Bungalows in Legion? Thanks!

I would suggest you get cash from an ATM, as the rate is bound to be better than a money changer. If my map reading skills are correct, there is an ATM just around the corner from your hotel. The ATM is on Jalan Legian. Your hotel is on Jalan Padma. So when leaving the hotel, if you turn left and walk to the intersection with Jalan Legian and turn left agin, the ATM should be on the left a few yards down. (I found this map on the website for HSBC bank, see https://www.apps.asiapacific.hsbc.co...=en&country=ID the ATM may be inside a Commonwealth Bank (and Australia bank) branch. (You can look for other branches of this bank in the Legian/Kuta area.)

There is also, to the best of my recollection, an ATM machine at the airport.

I would avoid changing money at a hotel if you can, as their exchange rates are generally the worst.

Thank you! I do have an ATM card, but I always try and have a little cash as well. I guess I will just ask around when I get there. Thank You!

I think there is an ATM at the airport, so you can get some cash as you enter Bali.

There are definitely atms at the airport, and you'll find you can get more cash there than at most of the atms once you're out of the airport -- i.e.. if your bank charges a fee per transaction, you want to withdraw accordingly.

There are definitely money changers at the airport, so if you don’t want to use the ATM there, you can do that. Also if you are going to be in Hong Kong before Bali, or if you are changing planes in Hong Kong, you can get Rupiah at one of the several Travelex foreign exchange outlets in the airport (including in the transfer area for connecting flights). You may also be able to get Rupiah at SFO airport before you depart. Any of these methods would give you some cash in hand when you land, and you can use ATMs after that (for a better exchange rate).
