Mobile apps for Asian countries
 

Hi All,

I am planning couple of months long travel across different countries in Asia. I am hoping to download the most useful apps on my phone at the destination countries to make local travel easier (Travel bookings, local reviews, Taxi apps, Bus and Train apps, etc).

Is there a website or resource that can help me identify these local apps. It seems life doesn't move fast enough unless you have important apps on your phone :)

For mapping, we found (to our surprise) that google maps was the best mapping application. Just don't believe google's estimates of how long it takes to get from point A to point B.

Flickr for photo uploads
Onedrive for cloud storage
Google maps for finding hotels, stations etc
Not an app (but it should be!) www.seat61.com for train travel.
