Memories of the 2009 LA GTG... Tasting good!

Karen and Bob very generously brought a wonderful Pumpkin Spice Bread mix to give as favors at our GTG in LA in March.

I just baked it the loaf this afternoon, and it is DELICIOUS! Started out eating it hot with butter and iced tea, then my friend showed up and we had it with devonshire cream and wine. >:-)

A nice afternoon with the souvenir of another nice day. Thanks, Karen!

I have to admit--we absconded with 4 of them...since there were a few leftovers when we left Red Corner Asia that day.

We baked and ate them all within 2 weeks...and I should've posted sooner about the sheer, addictive nature of the Pumpkin Bread.

Amazing and tasty, even moreso, with a dab of cream cheese when just out of the oven.

Kudos again to the Needhamites for bringing such a thoughtful (and super-delicious) gift for the gang.

as much as i hate to admit it, the gpandas were also givers of these breads....they provided cash, not any leg work....

omg that sound great, I wonder if i can get it in the UK??

Once again, the silent contributions of the pandas go unremarked upon. The noisy Needhamite gets all the credit. Filmwill will be docked for his purloining of product.

Docked? He should be awarded for his housekeeping skills!

Yes, indeed, the pumpkin bread was yummy. We ate ours in the first few days after we got back from the gtg.

Thank you ALL,yes it was delicious! Notice the was......

Bob,I would have charged the panda double, you probably did, lol

Bet he asked to see the receipt :))

Aloha!

Gpanda Apr 28th, 2009 02:00 AM

We asked not for the receipt. Karma is a very powerful force and Bob's is all bad. Think about it, how much negative energy would one need to generate to be burdened with my friendship? A staggering figure.

i made a fake slip and cheated him out of some cash....
