If you're not getting a response from the Manohara, it may be that they are closed due to the recent volcanic eruptions at Mt. Merapi. The situation in the area is terrible right now. I wouldn't plan any visits to Borobudur until the mountain has settled down.

I understand that things are back to normal at Borobudur and in Yogya. There's a lot of destruction higher up on Mt. Merapi but you wouldn't be affected by it unless you really do some climbing.
