Malysian Airlines

I have enough miles for a first class ticket from US to Bangkok on either Malysian Airlines, Korea Air or Northwest. There is a small chance I can use it on Singapore. I've heard good things about Malysian Air first class. Can anyone tell me about it?

Thanks
Gloria

Northwest has 2 class service...Business & Economy. Malaysia has 3 class service...1st, Business, and Economy.

I have flown Business on both and Malaysia is much better.

Malaysian Air first class is fabulous! No question it is the best of your options.

I (inadvertently) booked first class tickets for a friend and I from KL to SIngapore. Even on that short hop we had a hot meal (duck) and Dom Perginon champagne. The service was exceptionally gracious.

Kathie - they actually served duck and champagne on that short flight? Talk about fast food!

No kidding - I was floored!

I had enough miles to book first class on Malaysian Air next month. How does Malaysian air 1st Class compare to Singapore 1st class from the US? I've read that they have great service, but it appears that the 1st class seats do not recline to a flat position. How is the food from and to the US? Any comments would be very welcome.
