I'm 1.65. I am currently wearing the largest size sleepwear my more upmarket than usual hotel offers, and the pants finish half way down my calves. The top is too big. I've only had one hotel offer a yukata that fitted.

Two nights in Nara sounds good. I hope your full day is not on the weekend, the crowds will be worse then. Do not skip the gardens on the way to the temples. The "Italian" restaurant across from the station is super friendly, if short on English (if you speak Italian, the chef spent some time there). I highly recommend the sake tasting at the brewery.
