Malaysia to Singapore
 

i wish to visit malaysia with my family (2 adults and 3 children)on end of June2005.please advice me on:
if we arrive at Kualalampur airport without hotel booking, is it easy to get an accomodation from the airport. will it be expensive? or better to book through net. can we go to singapore by bus or train from kuala lumpur if we have an singapore entry visa and what will be the fare? is there a provision for keeping the luggages. pls advice

You could take premium express buses from KL to Singapore as well. The journey takes around 5 hours and the buses are extremely comfortable. The train on the other hand takes 7-8 hours but there's an overnighter you could take which saves you a night's stay. Try www.aeroline.com.my for bus service.

Forgot to mention fares. Bus fare per pax for express bus journeys is approx RM70, which works out to USD$18 or so.

Can't recall train fares off the top of my head.

IMHO, best way to get to S'pore is by bus. I would not recommend travelling by train becos of the longer travel time and bad experience with KTMB. This was on a 1st class ticket - poor service, clogged toilets, noisy neighbours.
