Malaysia or Borneo or Cambodia?

I'm debating taking a trip to Malaysia but somewhat undecided. I get the impression that it is somewhat like Singapore, with modern cities with ethnic neigborhoods, (china towns). But also has nice beaches. (How do they compare w/ S. Thailand?) And also has national parks or lots of nature stuff. Is that how it is? Is it necessary to go to Borneo or is there enough to see and do on the peninsula. Besides beaches and nature hikes are there enough cultural excursions?

I loved Vietnam and being blown away by the awesome scenery and facinating city life. Does Malaysia bombard your senses like Vietnam?

My other option is going to Saigon and travel up the Mekong delta to Cambodia and Ankor Wat.

What's the better trip?
It depends what you want from your holiday. Malaysia has big cities and beautiful beaches. Peninsula Malaysia has a huge national park but if you like to do the "nature" thing - you must go to Borneo as well. The cultural experience is more authentic and unspoilt there. Try spending a nite at the longhouses of the natives in Borneo !

Made in Malaysia
