Malaysia and Thailand 2013 travelogues
 

Here are travelogues of our trip to Malaysia and Thailand this summer:

As usual long and very detailed. The Malaysian part of the trip covered KL, KK, the Klias peninsula, Pulau Tiga, the Mari Mari cultural village, Sandakan, Sepilok, Pulau Berhala, the Tabin wildlife reserve, Mantanani island and Singapore. In Thailand we visited Khao Lak and Bangkok.

I understand you felt that prices were high in Sabah and Sarawak, but I'd love to know what kinds of wildlife you saw.

Not that much actually. Proboscis monkeys along the Garama river, orang utans in Sepilok, a gibbon in Tabin, monitor lizards in Sapi and Mantanani (beasts which were not afraid of me, I almost stumbled on them) and sandflies on Mantanani.

Forgot to mention, I also saw this mouse deer in the Tabin reserve:

I should have spent a few more days there, but their packages are so expensive.
