Majestic Grande Hotel- Soi 2

Does anybody know how far of a walk it is from this hotel to Sukhumvit Rd.

Also, any opinions on the quality of this new hotel?

It's about 2-3 minutes walk to Sukhumvit. I had the grand tour of the place about two weeks ago. It's nice. I've not stayed here. The restaurant (Sacz) in the lobby on the ground floor is terrific! I have posted some photos on cjscollection, if you want to take a look at rooms, pool, restaurant. Click on the photo gallery link on the left side of the page, and then click on the Asia album.

We stayed there in Dec 05. It was very nice, good service, nice rooms. Never had any meals there, except for the breakfast buffet, which was great. And I think it was less than a 2 minutes walk, but we walk fast.

I was there in over Xmas in 2005. The Ploenchit station is actually a trifle nearer than the Nana station in my experience...less than 5 minutes walk.

As for the hotel, it's great especially for its price. The pool's rather small though. There are also only 2 lifts on site so sometimes there may be quite a wait.

Two Skytrain stations at five minutes walk? Sounds great...
Thank you again.
