Luggage weight in China

What is the luggage weight for air travel within China?
We will be on a Viking Cruise with flights from Chongging to Xian and then to Bejing.
Thanks,
Charlotte

One 20kg (44lb) piece per passanger in the economy class, Hong Kong included.

Thanks so much. That is what we have with our travel documents, too. Also, what about size? They show 8x16x22 which is a carry-on size! Yikes! That is also the size they show for a carry-on! We will be there for 16 days!
Thanks again!

Read it carefully. You can check a large suitcase. It only warns you that if the size is MUCH larger, then you have to check it elsewhere. But it is allowed, as long as its under 20kg/44lb.
