Luang Prabang Waterfall

If you could only see one waterfall in Luang Prabang, which would you see--Tad Se Waterfall or Tad Khuang Si Waterfall?

We went to Tad Khuang Si - beautiful and you can swim there. If you are hiking to the top, go on the left side, not the right. I read somewhere that Tad Se is only good during the rainy season. A Google search of either will bring up images...

Thank you, I should have thought to search it. :)

We went to both, both were nice, neither one was stellar, IMO.

Not sure what the falls were called, but I went up to the top and swung on the rope over into the pool hundred of feet up from the bottom. Then swam to the very edge to look down. The pools were awesome, small ones and larger ones as you climb up to the top. Gorgeous colors in every shade of blues. Something out of a movie. Was one of my most memorable experiences. Enjoy

Kuang Xi, but make sure you get three early and not on pubic holidays - it gets really crowded.
climbed to the top and back down on the right which was quite a climb - was using hands as well as feet....only to find there are steps on on the left
