Shady, My DH asked me how long I would be here on the computer. I said just a few minutes. Then I started reading (just for a second) your trip report and it is now hard to pull myself away. This is an excellent report (one of the best ones I've read) and I am enjoying it, however, will have to finish when I get back home from work.

Nanabee, what a lovely comment. Thank you. I love reading trip reports, especially ones which help me decide where I want to go and what to do and I have used them to ask questions about a trip that I am planning to do myself.

I also have to give my apologies to all reading the report because on looking back, I can see that all my apostrophes and dashes (of which I obviously use far too many) are showing up as little squares. I'm assuming it has something to do with having typed it in a Word document first and then cut and pasted to here but it always looked fine when I checked at the 'preview' page before posting.

Shandy
I have sympathy with you on corrections in Word.
I recently prepared a detailed Trip Review on Ngapali Beach, in Word.
Checked it and amended half a dozen times for content, spelling and punctuation/paragraphs.
I then copy and pasted it into the review and previewed/amended it a further three times before adding photos and submitting it.
I then read through it again and was happy with the layout and content.

A couple of days later I read it again and to my horror the last para read
" The locals depend on terrorist $ to feed their children"
Pesky Word had changed 'tourist' to 'terrorist'

If only I could change it, but the alternative of deleting/amending and resubmitting it would be a mammoth task
cheers
SS

Oh dear, Silverswimmer, you must have been horrified. I feel for you. I think we have all suffered from auto-correction in text messages etc. but that must take the cake.
