Looking for Traditional Crafts Center in Tokyo

I live in Tokyo now and have been looking for the Zenkoku Dentoteki Kogeihin Senta (Japan Traditional Crafts Center). I followed all the directions in the Fodor's guide and some sort of music business is there now (Plaza 246 bldg. 2F 3-1-1 Minami Aoyama, Minato-ku)
Can someone help find the center's new address, or provide another suggestion within Tokyo (preferably easy to find on the subway...) Thanks!

Hello Viv,

According to their website, the center is now located in the Metropolitan Plaza in Ikebukuro. Here's a link to the page with a map:

www.kougei.or.jp/english/center.html

Bonjour Viv,

I couldn't locate their new address either. There used to be a building on the Yaesu side of Tokyo station where you could buy craft and local specialties from all over Japan. but it's been years since I've last been there.

The Oriental Bazar on Omotesando has a good selection too.

I thind your (and my) best bet is to ask the TIC in Yurakucho (look for their phone number and new location at www.jnto.go.jp)

Thanks, Michael! I knew that it had to be SOME WHERE!
And thanks to you, too, Florence - I knew you'd respond or have a good alternate suggestion.
Thank you both, again!
