LONGSHEN in the fall

I thought I read in one of the posts that visiting LONGSHEN in October or later is not a good idea as it's not as pretty with the patties not in bloom. Is this true? We are thinking of traveling in September or October.

They harvest the rice in late September-early october. So ou just see bare field and some burning of garbage.

You want to see the vividly green rice plants in the paddies, not the rice plants blooming. As mentioned above, October is not the time for that.
