Kathie, welcome home! I know I do not have to say that I am eagerly awaiting your trip report. Somehow I am confident that it will be complete long before I leave in February. You are not one to tarry like some others here!

Thanks ecks. We're sitting in the JAL lounge in Tokyo waiting for our connection to BKK. I'm reading a new book called Burma/Myanmar: What Everyone needs to Know by David I Steinberg, professor Asian Studies, Georgetown University. I think I'll have to leave the book in Thailand though. So far it's good info. I found it on Amazon.
