Last Call for Connecticut GTG this Sunday May 21st
 

The first ever Connecticut GTG will be held at the RiverCity Grill at the Hartford/Windsor Airport Marriott. The Marriott is located at exit 38 off I-91 north of Hartford. There is plenty of free parking. Complete directions can be found on the hotel web site:

The event will start at noon on Sunday May 21st and go until about 3 or so. There is a fairly diverse a la carte lunch menu (soups, salads, sandwiches, etc.) and bar service. There is a section of the restaurant with plenty of room that has been set aside just for us.

Enjoy your GTG. Wish I could be there, but alas, not until the October GTG at the hotel@MIT. I'll be thinking about you though. I'll be in DC at a convention. I hope the weather improves... it's really ugly in Illinois right now. I hope Ct doesn't float away...

I had posted to the other thread, but alas and alack, I am not going to be there. I really wanted to meet you all, and I will try to make that happen in the fall, but next Sunday is not working out for me. Have a wonderful time! Sharon

Oops, sorry Sharon - I did see that you posted on the other thread. We will miss you.

You guys have a GREAT time on Sunday!! Eric and I would be there but we'll be in Yogya on Sunday, praying that the volcano gods are kind to us. CT is probably a bit safer at this point but we like a little excitment. We'll plan a toast to you on Sunday.

We are not alone!!! (Star Trek????)......When Bob asked,
"Why do you love SE Asia", we all had different responses, and yet the same. For 7 years we have traveled SE Asia...and this past weekend we knew we were not alone. At this table were people who are different, who think different.. ..and who are collectively "one". Thank you , Craig and Jeane... This meant alot to us.
